ABOUT THE ROLE
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team on a full-time basis. This role will be based in our Battersea office.
Overview of the role and responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the daily financial operations related to Ecommerce ensuring all tasks are carried out accurately and within specified timeframe.
Manage end-to-end accounting processes in line with statutory, tax and audit requirements, including invoice processing, returns reconciliation, and revenue recognition.
Processing invoices/credit notes and ensuring they are approved and correctly recorded onto the system.
Controlling the purchasing of products and services from external suppliers through PO number issuing
Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
Act as one of the main points of contact for the Finance department
Reconciling Credit card statements for department cards
Providing support on Travel expense claims
Assist with month end closing activities
Ad hoc account administrative duties
(Please note this is not an exhaustive list of duties and you may be required to perform additional duties to fulfil the requirements of the role)
PROFILE & KEY SKILLS
Finance, business administration or accounting education would be an advantage
Excellent computer skills, able to work with Word and Excel at an advanced level
Great communication skills and have an eye for numbers
Extremely detail-oriented, organised and able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
Able to work independently where required with initiative
Excited about the opportunity of working in the fashion and retail sector
